Born right in Amsterdam, New Amsterdam Surf Association blends city life—fashion, music, art—with a crew that shares a deep love for surfing. It’s a “New” wave of surfers who spend more time in cities than at the beach. Finding that one person with a car and drivers license or collectively hop on the public transport, sometimes with getting kicked off the tram. The struggle to hit the beach is what unites the crew. And all that effort? Just to reach some murky water with a filthy industrial skyline.
That is what New Amsterdam Surf Association is about.
